Defence Minister mocks Gov. Fashola for reversing LASU fees

           


I am still trying to make sense out of his tweets but I’m still kinda lost…:-) The Lagos state Governor, Babatunde Fashola yesterday August 7, directed the immediate reversal of the school fees of Lagos State University, LASU which was hiked way back in 2011. Students will now pay between N76, 750 and N158, 250 depending on the faculty as against the current fee of N198,000 to N350, 000. Well, the Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obaniko and the PDP candidate at the 2007 Lagos state governorship election says that reducing the school fees is not enough.

The Senator took to twitter to blast Gov. Fashola. He say’s the move is just a pre- political gimmick ahead of the 2015 election. The minister also says Fashola should not only apologise to the students who he has deprived education in the last 3 years, but also ask God for forgiveness.
